PURPOSE: A high frequency current supply device for a gate drive circuit is provided to protect a GTO module from damage by detecting output value errors at each section. CONSTITUTION: A power supply(100) converts power into a high frequency current. The power supply supplies the high frequency current to a gate drive circuit(300). A high frequency drive circuit is installed at each GTO element(200). A controller(500) controls the gate drive circuit. An error detector(400) detects errors by comparing output values of the GTO element.
