Methods and compositions for treating HIV infection

A method for treating latent HIV infection is disclosed. The method includes administering to a subject in need of such treatment an effective amount of an anti-IkappaBalpha agent, an anti-IkappaBepsilon agent or both; and administering to the subject an effective amount of an antiviral agent. A pharmaceutical composition for treating latent HIV infection is also disclosed.
