PURPOSE: An electric vehicle, and a controlling method thereof are provided to block an access which is not allowed when charging a battery, thereby reinforcing the security. CONSTITUTION: An electric vehicle (102) comprises: a first communications path (206), a second communications path (208), and a gateway control unit (202). The first communications path is equipped to exchange information between the vehicle and a charging station. The second communications path is equipped for communications in the vehicle. The gateway control unit (202) prevents that the information which needs to be secured among the information transmitted by the second communications path outflows to the charging station through the first communications path.
