AUTOMATIC ADDRESS ALLOCATION METHOD FOR DMX512 PROTOCOL RECEIVER DEVICE

PURPOSE: An automatic address allocation method of a reception device using a DMX512 protocol is provided to automatically set a start address. CONSTITUTION: A reception device using a DMX512 reference protocol sets start address based on the DMX512 reference protocol outputted from a controller without receiving start address data or a specific code from the controller. The reception device transmits the specific code data and a device number with a method which is different from the DMX512 reference protocol. The reception device sets the start address based on the received device number.
