PURPOSE: A roller rotation detecting apparatus of a heat treating furnace is provided to supply an inexpensive and efficient roller rotation detecting apparatus by forming a rotation detecting unit which reciprocates along rails by installing the rails on one side of a roller. CONSTITUTION: A roller rotation detecting apparatus of a heat treating furnace comprises a rotation identifying unit, a bogie (11), and a rotation detecting unit (12). Multiple rollers (2) are formed in between both side frames of a heat treating frame (1), and provided with the rotation identifying unit on one side of the rollers. The bogie is moved along rails (10) on one side of the frames, and the rotation detecting unit is fixed on one side of the bogie. The abnormal rotation of the rollers is detected since the rotation detecting unit detects whether the rotation identifying unit is rotated or not.
