PURPOSE: An electronic book display method, an electronic book display apparatus and a competition system using the electronic book display apparatus are provided to display or remove text or image on a moving path of a reading time display member, and to change the text or the image according to pre-established setting. CONSTITUTION: A display unit (51) displays an electronic book and a reading time display member. An input part (52) is inputted with a command for movement of the reading time display member from a user. The input part generates a signal corresponding to the command. A movement control part (53) moves the reading time display member according to the signal generated through the input part. When the reading time display member arrives at a fixed spot, a control part (54) performs an operation corresponding to the fixed spot.
