<p>PURPOSE: A tension device and a method for providing tension are provided to absorb the speed change of wire in a case where the speed of wire is significantly changed, thereby constantly maintaining the tension of wire that is sent to a winding machine. CONSTITUTION: A tension device (20) include a discharge pulley (24), a discharge speed control means, a first tension pulley (27), a second tension pulley (28), and pressuring means (33,34). The discharging pulley is comprised so that a wire (11) that is discharged from the wire supplying source is caught. The discharge speed control means controls the rotation of discharging pulley, and controls the speed of wire that is discharged from the wire supplying source toward the winding machine. The first tension pulley redirects the wire that is discharged from the discharging pulley. The second tension pulley redirects the wire that is redirected by the first tension pulley again, and tends toward the winding machine. The pressuring means performs the pressurization in order to extend the distance between the first tension pulley and the second tension pulley.</p> |
