PURPOSE: An ecosystem based energy saving routing device, a transmission path setting method, and an update method thereof are provided to accumulate pheromone on each node based on a measured value by measuring energy consumption rates based on an energy profile. CONSTITUTION: An energy statistics model(104) stores the statistics information of an energy consumption rate based on an energy profile in each destination generated by information collected by artificial ants. A pheromone table(106) is generated based on the statistics information of the energy consumption rate in the energy statistics model. The pheromone table stores pheromone information in a neighboring node and a destination. A transmission path setting unit(130) sets the transmission path of the packet based on information stored in the pheromone table, a delay statistics model, and the service demand quality value of the packet according to the arrival of the packet.
