<p>PURPOSE: A sealing device of a pouch type battery and a sealing method are provided to prevent a sealing part from being pushed into the pouch by processing sealing with different thickness. CONSTITUTION: A sealing device of a pouch type battery includes a sealing tool (200) placed on the top and the bottom of a sealing part (110) of the battery pouch (100).
