PURPOSE: A compound is provided to enhance light emitting efficiency compared with existing phosphorescent dopant Ir(ppy)3, and to improve driving voltage, and lifetime. CONSTITUTION: An iridium compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. An organic electroluminescent device comprises anode, a cathode, and one or more organic layers between the anode and the cathode. One or more organic layers contain the iridium compound. The organic layer is a light emitting layer. The iridium compound is dopant. |
