PURPOSE: A power supply apparatus in an energy system and a method thereof are provided to stably supply electricity by analyzing a harmonic wave component which is included in an electric energy and controlling an AC power. CONSTITUTION: An inverter unit (230) outputs an AC power of an electric energy. An analysis unit (252) analyzes a harmonic wave of AC power. An adjusting unit (254) generates an adjustment value of AC power by using a total harmonic distribution (THD) of AC power which corresponds to the harmonic wave analysis. A control unit controls an AC power to be outputted above a fixed level by controlling the current of the AC power through an optimal current control gain value after generating the optimal current control gain value by using the adjustment value.
