<p>The invention relates to a machine and a process for manufacturing flexible metal tubes with twistable grooves starting from strip blanks. The claimed machine comprises a frame (A), an unwinding device (B), on which there are located a distributing reducing gear (F), and a box (C) with rollers which ensure the transmission of the rotary motion in some pairs (1a-1b, 2a-2b, 3a-3b) of rollers (D) which profile the strip in a manner suitable for the process. The claimed process for manufacturing flexible metal tubes (E) profiles a strip (4, 5, 6) from the middle towards the edges, afterwards winding it onto a mandrel and assembling in a twisting manner the overlapping turns by a device for winding the profile of the flexible metal tube.</p> |
