<p>The invention relates to a ground-coupled heat exchanger, used for transferring the heat from thermal solar panels to the ground. According to the invention, the exchanger consists of a steel pipe section with caps welded at its ends, the upper cap having two orifices through which there pass the two turn-return pipes wherethrough the water circulates on the entire length of the heat exchanger (3) which is introduced into a hole drilled in the ground, the space between the wall of the heat exchanger (3) and the ground and the wall of the drilled hole being filled with quartz sand, and the heat from some solar panels (1) is transmitted to the water through the heat exchanger (3) by means of a circulation pump (2), by the convection of water, the heat reaching the metal wall of the exchanger (3), and from there the heat transmission mechanism is purely conductive in the ground, and for reducing the heat losses at the upper part of the ground-coupled heat exchanger (3), at the ground surface, there is necessary a good thermal insulation (4), and a foil (7) with hydro protection and steam barrier role, thereafter, when the thermal solar panels (1) stop producing heat, the transfer of heat towards the ground continues due to the free convection of the water from the heat exchangers and the thermal conduction into the ground.</p> |
