PURPOSE: A ship using boil-off gas(BOG) for a dynamic positioning system is provided to effectively manage the supply of electricity in a ship by controlling operational electricity to a pump after one of power generated in an BOG generator and commercial power is converted to the operational electricity. CONSTITUTION: A ship using BOG for a dynamic positioning system comprises BOG lines(150,152), a first compressor(200), a BOG heater(300), a power generator(400), a BOG generator(500), a voltage controller(600), and a power transmission net(180). The BOG lines provide a moving path of BOG from tanks(101,102). The first compressor is installed in the BOG lines. The BOG heater is installed in the BOG lines and is arranged in the rear end of the first compressor. The power generator is installed in the end of an output side BOG line of the BOG heater. The BOG generator produces the generated power with electric power generated from the power generator. The voltage controller is connected to an output side of the BOG generator to convert the generated power to operational electricity. |
