An error detection method for an anti-pollution sensor of a full auto temperature controller in a vehicle is provided to improve the stability of an FATC(full auto temperature controller) by removing the control error of an intake door due to the error of an APS(Anti-Pollution Sensor). An error detection method for an anti-pollution sensor of a full auto temperature controller in a vehicle comprises following steps. In the operation of an ignition switch and an FATC, APS output voltage is inputted into a micro computer through an A/D(Analog To Digital) converter of the FATC. In case APS output voltage is within the voltage range of open state, the APS error is sensed(S31). The APS output voltage is monitored for set time in order to confirm APS error. The APS error is confirmed in case the output voltage of APS is within voltage range of the opening state. After APS error is confirmed, the opening degree of an intake door is maintained and a user recognizes the error of the APS by turning off the LED(Light Emitting Diode) of the APS. |
