PURPOSE: A multi battery monitoring system (BMS) starting system and a method thereof are provided to improve a transmission property by multiplexing the transmitting direction of a starting signal. CONSTITUTION: A master BMS (110) outputs a forward direction starting signal. The forward direction starting signal is generated by a first master communications channel (111). The master BMS outputs a backward direction starting signal. The backward direction starting signal is generated by a second master communications channel (112). A first through N slave BMSs output a starting signal to an adjacency slave BMS.
