PURPOSE: A compound cathode active material, a manufacturing method thereof, a cathode using the same and a lithium battery including the same are provided to improve discharge capacity, lifetime and thermal stability of the lithium battery by using porous compound cathode active material having metal nanoparticles and lithium titanate. CONSTITUTION: A compound cathode active material has secondary porous particles assembled with primary particles. The secondary porous particles have metal nanoparticles and lithium titanate for producing an alloy with lithium. The metal nanoparticle is coated with the lithium titanate. The diameter of the porous secondary particle is 40㎛ to 1. The sphericity of the porosity secondary particle is greater than 0.90. |
