Provided as a novel industrial product is a process and system applied in the science and industry for capturing, acquiring and processing acoustic signals emitted by wear in tribological pair contacts. The invention consists in a system formed by a piezoelectric transducer using different electronic devices, an electronic device acting as a controller of the whole system for the evaluation of the signal already treated by the piezoelectric transducer and a graphic interface in which the results are displayed.
