PURPOSE: A method for neural cell type-specific expression of a target gene is provided to effectively and specifically express the target gene and to study a gene in a neural cell. CONSTITUTION: A method for neural cell type-specific expression of a target gene comprises: a step of preparing a viral vector containing a neural cell type-specific promoter and a target gene which is operatively linked to the promoter; a step of injecting the prepared viral vector into the cerebral ventricle of an animal embryo using UIGD(Ultrasound Image-Guided Gene Delivery); a step of developing the embryo and obtaining the neural cell with a neural cell type-specific expression pattern. The neural cell type-specific promoter is a neuron-, astrocyte- , or oligodendrocyte-specific promoter. The viral vector is retrovirus. |
