PURPOSE: A grinding wheel for chamfering a thin plate glass and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily remove and discharge foreign materials generated during a grinding work. CONSTITUTION: A grinding wheel(100) for chamfering a thin plate glass comprises a bushing(10), an abrasive grain layer(20), and a second contact layer(30). The bushing is fixed to the rotary shaft of a rotation device through a shaft hole(10a). The abrasive grain layer surrounds the outer surface of the bushing and grinds the rim surface of a thin plate glass(1). The second contact layer is composed of a material different from the abrasive grain layer and is partially buried in the abrasive grain layer. |
