FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: mechanical seal has opposed rotary sealing end and fixed sealing end to be forced in contact to make seal there between. One of said sealing ends is located on bearing assembly including deflector and actuated to displace said sealing end for it to get in contact with another sealing end. In compliance with one version, said deflector comprises one or more elastic elements to be deformed to create deflecting force. In compliance with second version, bearing assembly makes a part of hydraulic barrier of the seal while deflector is hydraulically impermeable to make another part of said seal. In compliance with third version, deflector is subjected to fluid pressure while deflecting force increase with fluid pressure increase in said chamber.EFFECT: higher reliability.18 cl, 9 dwg |
