PURPOSE: A needle bed apparatus for a flat knitting machine is provided to stabilize rotational motion of a sinker and to replace a conventional sinker bed. CONSTITUTION: A needle bed apparatus for a flat knitting machine comprises: a plurality of needle plates(22), a plurality of parallel knitting needles(24), a sinker(25), and a sinker control unit(31). The sinker control unit has one or more control cams(312). The plurality of parallel knitting needles and the sinker are placed between the needle plates. The sinker control unit moves in parallel with respect to a sinker-arranged direction and comprises a switch part(311). |
