PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for controlling the power generation of a blast furnace top gas pressure power generator are provided to control the generated power of the power generator by bypassing a part of a furnace gas flowed into the furnace from a bishop, by controlling the opening of a bypass control valve according to an opening control signal of a bypass valve. CONSTITUTION: According to a method for controlling the power generation of a blast furnace top gas pressure power generator(40), detection units(42,51), initial signal generating units and opening control units(37,38) of a bypass control valve(50) are included. The detection units detect the opening of a power generation control valve(43) and the bypass control valve. The initial signal generating units generate an initial signal for controlling the power generation of the blast furnace top gas pressure power generator, on the basis of the opening of the power generation control valve, the generated power of the power generator and the opening of the bypass control valve. The opening control unit of the bypass control valve controls the opening of the bypass control valve according to an opening control signal of the bypass control valve generated on the basis of the initial signal. The generated power of the power generator is controlled by bypassing a part of a furnace gas flowed into the power generator from a bishop(30). |
