The pivot shaft 23 comprises a truncation or notch 26 positioned to ease engagement and/or disengagement of the at least one hooked member 41 with the pivot shaft 23 along a predetermined orientation of the second hinge member relative to the first hinge member. The position of the truncation or notch 26 and the extent of the hooked member 41 are such that a portion of the temple arm 22 needs to be moved beyond a normal orientation when in the open or closed position for the second hinge member to achieve the predetermined orientation. |
