PURPOSE: An accelerated cooling apparatus and method for removing residual stress are provided to improve accelerated cooling efficiency by measuring the resonant frequencies of steel materials and providing the natural frequency to each steel material in real time. CONSTITUTION: An accelerated cooling apparatus comprises a steel insertion part(100) which forms an insertion path for steel materials, an accelerated cooling part(200) connected to the steel insertion part to form a cooling path connected to the insertion path and providing cooling water for the steel materials, and an oscillating unit(300) providing the natural frequency of the steel materials to the steel materials transferred through the insertion path. |
