PURPOSE: An Upo swamp regosol-derived novel esterase L28 and a use thereof are provided to decompose fat under an alkali environment and to effectively remove oil and fats with ester bond. CONSTITUTION: Esterase contains an amino acid sequence in sequence number 1. A gene encoding esterase contains a nucleic acid sequence in sequence number 2. A vector contains the gene. The vector is pUC118 vector. A transformant is prepared by transforming with the vector. The transformant is E.coli. |
