594578 Disclosed is a driver (10) for a fence post that allows for driving of different post sizes, diameters, cross-sections and profiles by interchanging the detachable bell mouth guide. The driver comprises an elongate hollow body (12) having an open in-use lower end (14), and a guide (16) having a hollow cylindrical body, the guide being adapted such that a substantial portion of the guide body can be removably located within the driver lower end in use. A portion of the guide body protrudes beyond the lower end when the guide is located therein, with the protruding portion being adapted to abut a rim of the lower end when the guide is located therein. The guide is connectable to the driver body via a quick release coupling. The bell mouth defines a curved surface that extends from an inside wall of the elongate hollow body at the lower end to an outside edge of a rim of the lower end. |
