The panel (1) has a fixing unit i.e. locking mechanism, arranged on an interior lining (9) of a door of a car, where the panel defining a contour (5) in contact with the lining is obtained by stamping, cutting and/or folding a metal sheet or by molding a thermoplastic material. A disassembling notch (14) is formed on the contour and placed on a lower part (2) on a horizontal portion (8) of a peripheral surface (4) of the panel. Openings (12) are formed on a panel body for fixing screws. A positioning finger is arranged on the lining. An independent claim is also included for a method for disassembling a trim panel.
