METHOD FOR FABRICATING TEMPERED GLASS AND TEMPERED GLASS BY THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A tempered glass production method is provided to increase productivity of a large scale tempered glass and to improve strength property distribution of tempered glass by injecting get type salt mixtures into an injection area formed an upper surface and a lower surface of the rough blank glass. CONSTITUTION: A tempered glass production method includes the following steps. (i) Tools (10,20) which form injections area for a gel-type salt mixtures are installed on an upper surface and a lower surface of a rough blank glass (100). (Ii) Gel type salt mixtures are injected into the injection area. And (iii) the rough blank glass with the tools installed is treated with heat in a heating chamber. The gel-type salt mixtures are composed of salt of metal ions and inorganic oxides. The salt of alkali metal ion contains at least one selected from nitride, chloride, and sulfide. Heat treatment in (iii) step is executed at 200-740 degree C. In (iii) step, the rough glasses installed with multiple tools are laminated in the heating chamber in a lying position.
