DEVICE FOR DETERMINATION OF MODULUS OF ELASTICITY AND THICKNESSES OF ASPHALT-CONCRETE LAYERS OF ROAD PAVEMENT

A device for determination of modulus of elasticity and thickness of asphalt-concrete layers of road pavement includes a power supply source, pulse source of elastic surface waves, sensors for registration of elastic surface waves and block for processing results of measurements. Additionally it includes an electromagnetic solenoid as a pulse source of elastic surface waves, piezoelectric vibro-accelerometers placed at given distances one from another as sensors for registration of propagation of elastic surface waves, and the block for processing results of measurements comprises a module of analog-digital converters, module for output of discrete signals and computer with special software.
