The present invention relates to a protection system for a water treatment facility structure and a construction method thereof, the protection system for a water treatment facility structure comprising: a panel spaced a predetermined distance from the interior or exterior of a water treatment facility structure; a plurality of fixed members and injection members fixedly attaching the panel to the water treatment facility structure; and a filler provided in between the water treatment facility structure and the panel, wherein the filler fills the space the water treatment facility structure and the panel by means of the injection members. A method for constructing a protection system for a water treatment facility structure comprises: a fixing step for fixing a hollow anchor bolt to each of a plurality of fixed grooves provided inside or outside a water treatment facility structure; a trimming step for trimming the end of each anchor bolt so that all anchor bolts protrude by the same amount from the water treatment facility structure; a seating step for seating the panel on one end of the anchor bolt and an adjustable nut provided on the outer circumferential surface thereof; an injection step for injecting a filler in between the water treatment facility structure and the panel by means of at least one injection hole provided around the outer circumferential surface of the anchor bolt; and a fastening step for fastening a fixed bolt to each inner circumferential surface of the one end of the anchor bolts so as to pressure fix the panel.
