PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which suppresses the deflection of a vehicle effectively by a simple configuration to obtain comfortable steering feeling.SOLUTION: A current instruction value calculating unit 22 includes a lead-pull correction control unit 27 which, when a variation of steering torque τ from which a high-frequency component is eliminated through a low-pass filter 30 is within a given value and a period during which the variation of the steering torque τ stays within the given value is equal to or longer than a given period, calculates a lead-pull correction amount Iip* as a correction component for reducing the steering torque τ. Then, the current instruction value calculating unit 22 superposes, in an adder 28, the lead-pull correction amount Iip* calculated by the lead-pull correction control unit 27 on a fundamental assist control amount Ias* representing a fundamental component calculated by a fundamental assist control unit 26, thereby calculates a current instruction value Iq* representing target assist power in power assist control. |
