PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference from repeated runout correction data written in an adjacent track, and to prevent the deterioration of track format efficiency.SOLUTION: A magnetic disc device includes: a magnetic disc; detecting means; converting means; and correcting means. The magnetic disc is equipped with a plurality of tracks respectively including servo frames in which servo burst data are written. In each servo frame of the plurality of tracks, repeated runout correction data made from a repeated pattern of a predetermined cycle are written from a position delayed by time corresponding to correction amount, from a synchronous timing position in the servo frame. The detecting means detects phase delay amount till the repeated pattern is read from the servo frame by a magnetic head, from the synchronous timing position. |
