摘要 <p>Methods for measuring formaldehyde emissions from a plurality of samples. An electrochemical sensor can be calibrated using a reference sample to provide a calibrated electrochemical sensor, where the time of calibration is equal to time zero. A plurality of samples can be placed within a sample chamber one at a time and a formaldehyde concentration of a gas passed across one or more surfaces of each sample can be measured. The first sample measured can be measured again as the last sample. A linear regression trend-line based on the two formaldehyde concentrations measured from the first sample can be generated. A revised linear regression trend-line based on what the formaldehyde concentration of the first sample would be at time zero and the formaldehyde concentration of the first sample when re-measured as the last sample can be generated. A correction factor for at least one of the plurality of samples measured between the two measurements of the first sample can be generated. The measured formaldehyde emission for the at least one of the plurality of samples measured between the two measurements of the first sample can be multiplied by its correction factor to provide a corrected formaldehyde concentration for the at least one of the plurality of samples.</p>
