PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimmer that can reduce manufacturing cost by commonalizing a light-control operation part and a case.SOLUTION: A dimmer A includes a rotary type variable resistor 70, a dimming control part which controls dimming level of an illumination load according to resistance value of the variable resistor 70, a rotating handle 34 which is installed on a rotary shaft 70a of the variable resistor 70 and changes the resistance value of the variable resistor 70 according to rotation operation, and a case 1 which houses at least the variable resistor 70 and the dimming control part. When the rotation handle 34 is rotated up to a prescribed position together with the rotary shaft 70a according to the rotation, a lever member 6 is in contact with an operating member 71a of a changing switch 71 for changing lighting/turning-off of the illumination load and the illumination load is turned off. The lever member is detachable to the rotary shaft 70a. |
