PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of reliably wearing a lip distal end part by preventing circumferential movement due to co-rotation, for a raceway ring fixing a seal member during operation of a bearing.SOLUTION: A seal lip part 9 includes a lip body part 9a and a projecting portion 16 projecting from a peripheral edge of the lip body part 9a in a radial direction and in slide contact with an inner race 1. The projecting portion 16 comprises a high-wear material in which, by using a bearing in a rotation state, the projecting portion 16 is worn and brought into a non-contact state or a light contact state at such a degree that a contact pressure may be assumed to be zero. A fitting part 13 fitted into a seal mounting groove 2b of a seal member body 8 has a co-rotation avoiding fitting form without generating circumferential movement due to co-rotation relative to an outer race 2 during slide contact of the projecting portion 16. |
