PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of making a panel unit hardly damage with shocks while removing shaking of the panel unit.SOLUTION: The display device 1 includes a holding section 2 mounted on a ceiling, and the panel unit 3 formed at a rectangular plate shape, wherein an upper end is fixed so as to move against the holding section 2. The panel unit 3 includes an EL panel 30 as a light source, and has a display surface 31 as at least one surface. The EL panel 30 of the panel unit 3 has flexibility in a thickness direction, and is formed to be flexible so as to set the shocks free when the shocks are added to the panel unit by making an object come in contact (collided) with the panel unit. Therefore, the panel unit 3 makes the display surface 31 maintain at a flat state at a normal time, and can relieve the shocks by elastically deforming so as to bend in a thickness direction of the EL panel 30 when receiving the shocks. |
