PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound shield structure of an apparatus which inhibits sounds in an apparatus body with an opening formed therein from leaking to the exterior through the opening, and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A sound shielding structure 130 includes: an operation part 140 provided in a housing 11; a power supply part 150 having a heat collection plate 156 provided in an area that is located in a housing 11 and at the outer side of the operation part 140; and a duct 160 which is provided in the housing 11 covering an exhaust port 166, divides the operation part 140 from the power supply part 150, and cools the heat collection plate 156. Since the duct 160 divides the operation part 140 from the power supply part 150 and covers the exhaust port 166, the transmission of sounds generated in the operation part 140 is inhibited by the duct 160. This structure inhibits the sounds in the housing 11 from leaking to the exterior through the exhaust port 166. |
