The surface of the electrode has a functional group comprising oxygen atom. A lithium secondary battery (100) comprises: a first electrode, a second electrode, a separator (113), and electrolyte. The first electrode is anode (112), and the second electrode is cathode (114). The electrolyte comprises a carbonate type solvent substituted with fluorine.
