PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion which is stable at a low viscosity even in the case of a high solid concentration and a high pigment concentration and a photosensitive coloring composition for a color filter excellent in developability and solvent resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a pigment dispersion for a color filter containing a pigment (A), a solvent (B), a dispersant (C) and an acrylic resin (D), wherein the acrylic resin (D) is a copolymer having a glass transition temperature of 10°C or less which is obtained by copolymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (d1) having a carboxyl group, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (d2) having a hydroxy group, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (d3) having an aromatic group (provided that (d1) or (d2) is excluded) and the other ethylenically unsaturated monomers (d4).
