PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for giving a part of information content to a client device for providing the way of personalizing the information content for a display on a portable device or a mobile device.SOLUTION: A user may specify a section of a Web page as a clipping, and request only the specified section instead of an overall Web page from a server 104. When receiving the request, the server loads the Web page, extracts the specified section, converts the specified section into that for a display on a client device, and transmits the converted information to a client device 106. The clipping of the information is turned into live update from the Web page giving the latest content from the Web page instead of a Web page section stored in a cache. |
