The first connector further comprising a button portion. A second connector (238) has a housing (281) and an attachment portion (280). The housing (281) having a mating cavity (290) formed therein for capturing the key of the first connector when the first and second connectors are mated in sealing relation. The mating cavity being laterally opened to the outside of the connector apparatus. Wherein depressing the button portion (286) of the first connector deforms the first connector and moves the key laterally outward away from the mating cavity of the second connector. (6645797 I):PRW
