-10 Abstract A guide system and/or method for use in erecting a power transmission line tower, including a backing guide section for attachment to a tower leg, part of the backing guide section angled inwardly relative to the tower. Also, one or more front guide sections are provided for attachment to the erected tower leg, part of the front guide section angled outwardly relative to the tower. In use, the backing guide section and the front guide section guide a suspended upper tower leg, when being lowered, to abut and be supported by a lower tower leg. [Fig. 7] |
