PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element which can improve light extraction efficiency of an element without damaging current diffusivity in a semiconductor laminate.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element 1 comprises: a semiconductor laminate which includes a first conductivity type layer, a luminescent layer and a second conductivity type layer in this order from the bottom; a first electrode 10 formed on the first conductivity type layer; a transparent electrode 21 which is formed on the second conductivity type layer and composed of an oxide, and which has sheet resistance smaller than that of the second conductivity type layer; and a second electrode 20 having an auxiliary electrode 22 which is formed on the transparent electrode 21 and composed of metal, and which has sheet resistance smaller than that of the transparent electrode 21. The auxiliary electrode 22 includes a linear enclosure part 24 which surround the first electrode 10 in plan view, and a pad part 23 for connecting wires formed outside the enclosure part 24 in plan view. The enclosure part 24 includes a plurality of minimum distance parts 25 in a circumferential direction, at each of which a distance from the first electrode 10 in plan view is minimal. |
