PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide developments of a peptide used for immunotherapy for treatment of atherosclerosis, of measurement of immunological response to an oxidized low-density lipoprotein, and of peptide-based ELISA for diagnosis of presence or absence of atherosclerosis.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the peptide defined for immune sensitization or treatment of mammals including human, analyzing presence or absence of an antibody related to increase or decrease of risks of progressing ischemia by using an apolipoprotein B fragment, particularly one or more of the peptides for ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay) which have properties as immunogens against ischemia or being therapeutic.
