PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable restoration result, without increasing the quantity of information, in a distributed information arrangement system.SOLUTION: In a transmitting-side distributed information processing apparatus 20, position coordinates of a terminal are converted into a random number seed by a coordinate/random number seed conversion section 28, the converted random number seed is inputted to a random number generator as an initial value by a random number generation section 32, and a random number sequence of a length corresponding to a compressibility determined by a compressibility determination section 30, namely, a random pattern peculiar for each terminal is generated. Compressed information is generated by multiplying source original information with the random number sequence is generated in a compression section 34 and held in a holding section 36 as distributed information together with the random number seed and the compressibility. In a receiving-side distributed information processing apparatus 40, a plurality of distributed information items are collected from the transmitting-side distributed information processing apparatuses 20 being existent within an area, the random number sequence is generated from the random number seed and the compressibility by a random number generation section 48, and the original information is restored by a restoration section 52 on the basis of a plurality of compressed information items and a plurality of random number sequences. |
