METHOD FOR PREVENTING LATE MANIFESTATION OF POSTOVARIECTOMY SYNDROME IN PATIENTS WITH CANCER OF CERVIX UTERI

A method for preventing the late manifestation of postovariectomy syndrome in the patients with cancer of cervix uteri comprises the radical hysterectomy and the substitution hormonal therapy. Starting from the 3-6th months postoperatively, Lival (Tibolon 2.5 mg) (Orgalon, Netherlands) is provided at a dose of one tablet daily for 5 years in a complex with calcium-containing compositions (calcium carbonate 1250 mg) one tablet twice a day for 30 days twice a year.
