A method for identifying the fire blight includes isolating a pure culture of the fire blight with the further analysis of bacterial protein composition by the method for isoelectric focusing in polyacrylamide gel, in which proteins are divided in the electrical field according to the gradient pH 3.5-10.0. An isoelectrophoregram, specific for Erwinia amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et al., is additionally obtained and according thereto new revealed disease isolates are identified.
