PURPOSE: A novel heteroleptic iridium complex is provided to be applied to an organic light emitting diode (OLED) device. CONSTITUTION: A compound of chemical formula I is provided. A first device contains a first organic light emitting device. The first device comprises an anode, a cathode, and an organic layer which is placed between the anode and the cathode and contains the compound of chemical formula I.
