The subject matter of the invention is the use of a known device for a new purpose. The invention relates to engine design and, in particular, to external fuel combustion engines and devices that run on anything that causes pressure to be exerted on a rotor during any type of process. The device makes it possible to simplify the design of the engine as a whole and reduce the number of moving components to a minimum by eliminating multiple movable friction members in the form of valves, inserts, projections, springs and various clamping devices and accessories. Openings in the housing make it possible, with the aid of known regulating elements, to regulate the pressure on the rotor windings, altering the power and the degree of fuel combustion and exerting a positive effect on the noise and environmental characteristics. Grouping engines and screw mechanisms on a single shaft or in succession therewith offers a significant economic advantage. The simplicity of the design together with the low manufacturing cost makes it possible rapidly to establish production of mechanisms with multiple variants for use in various branches of economic activity.
